A Public meeting to discuss a Planning application for 45 affordable Residential Units between De Braose Close and Radyr Court Road

will be held on Saturday 22nd February at 10am in St John’s Church Hall Danescourt

The meeting will be chaired by Councillor Pip Hill-John

The Taff Housing Association has appointed Philippa Cole to manage a Planning Application for building 45 affordable Residential Units on land between Radyr Court Road and De Braose Close, to be accessed by extending De Braose Close through the woods to almost join with Radyr Court Road. The planning reference is 20/00187/MJR and can be accessed by entering the details on the Cardiff Council Planning search at https://planningonline.cardiff.gov.uk/online-applications/

The Danescourt Community Association committee response to this Planning Application can be viewed here. We welcome the views of Danescourt residents on this matter and invite all to their meetings.

Cardiff Bus Service Changes January 2020 PDF Print E-mail

On Monday the 27th January, Cardiff Bus are implementing a new timetable for the 62/63/63A services. The service to and from Danescourt to the City Centre will be similar at 3 per hour during office hours Monday to Friday. The Radyr 63 service is reduced to 2 per hour at 20/40 minute intervals and a new 1 per hour 62 bus which goes from Heol Seddon along Llantrisant Road and terminates in Rhydlafar Drive will be introduced.

A Pre-Application Consultation on 45 Residential Units between De Braose Close and Radyr Court Road. PDF Print E-mail

The Taff Housing Association has appointed Philippa Cole to manage a Pre-Application Consultation for building 45 Residential Units on land between Radyr Court Road and De Braose Close, to be accessed by extending De Braose Close to almost join with Radyr Court Road through woodland. The Consultation website is https://pipcole.co.uk/ and should be open for a minimum of 28 days.

 

The Pre-Application Consultation is part of the Planning process. It is then up to the developer on when to proceed with a planning application to Cardiff Council.

 

Any communications to the Pre-Application Consultation may not be published, while any communications on a Planning Application will be published on the Council Planning website.

 

The Danescourt Community Association committee welcomes the views of Danescourt residents on this matter and invites all to their meetings which are held in St Johns Church Hall on the third Monday of every month at 8pm .

Wales Bus Pass Changes PDF Print E-mail

From Wednesday 11th September, Transport for Wales are working with all Welsh local councils and the Welsh Government to roll out new-style Concessionary Travel Cards by the end of December 2019.

These cards will replace the current green 'bus passes' across Wales.
