Following many representations from the Danescourt Community Association to Enterprise Inns we can confirm that work on refurbishing the Radyr Court Inn is due to start on 11^th July.

Andrew Bluett, Enterprise Inns' Regional Property Manager told us "external repair and redecoration works at The Radyr Court will commence on 11th July 2011 and should be complete within 4 weeks or so".

We don't yet have any more details about the work to be undertaken but the DCA welcomes this long awaited news. Edgar Gibbs, Chair of Danescourt Community Association has been corresponding with Enterprise Inns about the poor state of repair of the Radyr Court for some time now.

Many of you will remember the time when the Radyr Court was a thriving community pub, let's hope those times will return.
