Danescourt is a great place to live but it does have its problems.
Let us know what’s bothering you.
David Ross, a pensioner living in Rossetti Close, is concerned about the parking in Beale Close near the path to the railway station. He reckons that the half dozen or so cars parked there daily – perfectly legally – cause a problem for other road users.
"If you drive past mid-morning you have to take the corner on the wrong side of the road,” said Mr Ross, aged 79. “The council says it can’t do anything because there hasn’t been an accident!”. Mr Ross, who’s lived in Beale Close since he first moved to Danescourt 24 years ago, thinks that it’s stupid to allow parking on that spot. "People arrive late for their trains and they park wherever they can”, he says. “If there were 'No Parking signs' or double yellow lines would stop it.”
