The latest stage in the development of the LDP for Cardiff required Cardiff Council to put out a consultation asking for alternative site proposals to be sent in. A number of these were submitted by individuals or landowners and Cardiff Council has now sought views on these suggested alternative sites. A number of these would significantly affect North West Cardiff and consequently also significantly affect Llantrisant Road.
The alternative sites you can see at http://www.cardiff.gov.uk/content.asp?nav=2870,3139,5845,6858&parent_directory_id=2865 and there is an accompanying consultation form to be filled in. It would be very helpful if you could respond to the consultation, as the number submitted will help support the objections to the proposed North Western Cardiff developments which will all worsen the rush hour conditions on Llantrisant Road.
Cardiff Council's consultation form is rather complex however, so a template of an answer is attached for your use. It is a Microsoft Word document, to which you would only have to add your name etc. at the very beginning and to indicate at the end whether or not you would like to speak at the eventual Public Inquiry. Because the template is a Word document, you are also able to amend any part of it that perhaps you may not agree with.
The important part of this is that the form has to emailed back to Cardiff no later than next Friday April 4th. Please help the Danescourt Community Association and the North West Cardiff Group by sending in your response to this consultation.
