Cardiff Bus is making changes to many of the routes and timetables that serve Danescourt from 21^st July 2013

The 33, 33A, 33B, 60, 62, 62A, 101 & 102 are replaced by new services 62/63, 64/65, 66

The changes to Danescourt services will give us for the first time a half hourly service to and from Danescourt during the evenings and Sunday daytime, and more buses to the Heath Hospital on weekdays and for the first time buses on Saturday and Sunday.

The retiming of the buses to the city centre will mean that the 63 and the Stagecoach 122 service are not running together as they are now. They will leave Heol Seddon at 11 ;18 ; 31 ; 38 ; 51 ; 58 minutes past each hour during the daytime.

62/63 Bus Station,Danescourt,Radyr & 63 Radyr,Danescourt,Bus Station

The new 62/63 service keeps the existing service from the Central Bus Station with a similar timetable as far as Danescourt. At Danescourt 62 buses (once an hour from 9.05a.m. to 6.10pm Monday to Friday from the Bus Station) change to 66, which goes to the Bus Station via Keyston Road, Black Lion Llandaff, Llandaff Road, Cowbridge Road.

The 63 from the Bus Station continues to Radyr after Danescourt, (twice an hour between 9a.m. and 6p.m. Monday to Friday) and then returns to the Bus Station via Danescourt – see the timetable as the Danescourt to the Bus Station 63 service times are different to the current 60 timetable.

66 Bus Station,Canton,Fairwater,Danescourt both ways

The 66 service runs from Heol Urban along Danescourt Way to Keyston Road, Black Lion Llandaff, Llandaff Road, Cowbridge Road, Central Bus Station and back. Monday to Friday it is an hourly service from about 7a.m. to 11p.m. and during the day it combines with the 62 service.

64/65 Bus Station,Canton,Fairwater,Danescourt,Heath Hospital,Rumney both ways

The 64/65 service replaces the 101/102 service with a shorter route missing out Ely, but taking the route from Danescourt of the 62 to town via Canton with similar timings from Danescourt to the Heath Hospital and back. There is an increase in buses during Monday to Friday with an earlier bus at 6.27am from Heol Seddon and for the first time buses on Saturday and Sunday.
